I've found the coin I lost

Searches thoroughly and sweeps until the significant coin found

The Parable (Luke 15:8–10, NIV): “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbours together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

The main outcome of this parable. God’s persistent, searching love for each person (“the lost”), and the joy in heaven when a sinner repents and returns to God- I read it again and again- This must be the secret to be discovered by humans after many sacrifices or researchers- But the Bible displays the truth upfront.

Ten silver coins (Greek: drachmas) — possibly part of the woman’s savings, perhaps her marriage dowry or household money. Each drachma was roughly a day’s wage for a labourer, so losing one was significant. Lost Sheep and Lost Son both teach the same lesson about how the Shepherd goes after the one lost sheep and how the Father waits eagerly for the Son to return home. Here the woman lost one, searched until she finds the one. Determined attitude. The woman lights up the lamp and sweeps the house, a thorough effort until the coin found. Then after finding it, that recovery made her to call the communal celebrations with friends and families-

In the same way, God’s angels rejoice when even one person turns to Him. There’s joy in heaven over a single sinner who repents. That’s the kind of celebration the angels have every time a lost soul comes to God! This is how God responds whenever one of His lost children returns—because the one who was lost has been found!

Ezekiel 22:30, where God says: "I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it.

  • Does God not light a lamp? Yes, He will light it to show the world the path and direction when we face chaos and stand at the crossroads or find ourselves in a mess.
  • Does He not sweep through the communities with care? Yes, He does, and will continue to sweep the floors with greater focus, checking every nook and cranny until He finds us.
  • Does God not diligently seek the lost souls? Oh yes, absolutely. It is by His GRACE that we have been saved.
  • Does He not carefully seek out each soul until He finds it? We matter to Him, and He searches diligently, sweeping through communities until the lost coin is found. Each of us has a story connected to that parable—God sought us out, and we were found by Him. Salvation isn’t just about mankind seeking God; it’s the other way around—God is actively searching, finding us, and still reaching millions across the world.
Father God, give us the determined spirit of the woman who searched her whole house until she found the lost coin. Help us push past tiredness, sharpen our focus, and be careful to light the lamp and sweep diligently, never giving up until Your purpose is reached, bringing Glory to You alone. We speak to the storms to be still in Jesus’ Name. We command distractions, diversions, and doubts to leave in Jesus’ Name. We ask for Your intervention and favour in our lives. Thank You for letting us join You in seeking lost souls, reaching the unreachable, and making a difference through our lives. We give You all the honour, praise, and worship. Help us celebrate many more soul-winning victories together by Your grace. Please use us and our ministries to serve the nations and thousands. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

At the altar, our destiny is altered

At the altar, our destiny is altered... Reference-  Job 37:23-24 MSG “Mighty God! Far beyond our reach!     Unsurpassable in Power and Justice!     It’s unthinkable that HE would treat anyone unfairly. So bow to HIM in deep reverence, one and all!     If you’re wise, you’ll most certainly worship HIM.” God is unfolding His story in His own way. The Sovereign and Supreme Ruler is in control of everyone, everything, and everywhere, and the accuser must seek His permission before acting against us. He sees us as His own, and we belong to Him just as He belongs to us. As Job said, God can do all things, and no purpose of His can be stopped (42:2). The Just and Righteous Judge – Our God is fundamentally just, and it’s unthinkable that He would treat anyone unfairly. His rule and governance are righteous, even if at times our eyes, ears, and hearts may not fully understand. The source of all wisdom and revelation is God , whose knowledge is complete unlike ...

God's way is the Power

God's way is God's Power Reference- 1 Cor 4:20 MSG -  God’s Way is not a matter of mere talk; it’s an empowered life!! In 1 Corinthians, Paul speaks to a divided church where some were proud, eloquent, and believed they were spiritually superior because of their words and wisdom. He contrasts this human pride with the true power of God, shown in the cross, in changed lives, and in the work of the Spirit, the God's Power. It’s an empowered life—God’s ways are the true power, not found in mere talk, endless words, idle chatter, or impressive responses built on layers of discussion. It is a life empowered by the power of His Spirit, the presence of the Holy Spirit. It is power that breaks chains, sets us free, anoints us, and creates new opportunities, fresh paths, flourishing streams, divine strategies, abundant life, and limitless expansion. Paul didn’t ask the Corinthians to be practical . It’s not about having everything, but about having Him alongside others. That’s why h...

Efforts that counts...

Efforts that counts... Reference- 2 Ch 17  Context: King Jehoshaphat was a seeker and follower of the God of his father and was obedient to HIM; he wasn’t like Israel (at that time, Ahab was ruling Israel). And God secured the kingdom under his rule, gave him a firm grip on it. And everyone in Judah showed their appreciation by bringing gifts. Jehoshaphat ended up very rich and much honoured. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone - Apostle James in 2:17 Efforts that showed his intention to Seek and Keep Him: Sticking to the ways of Asa (his godly father). Rejecting Baal — non-conformity to the ungodly culture. Removing high places and Asherah poles. This is personal reformation — the king putting his own house in order spiritually. Efforts that enabled others to Seek and Keep Him: Building defences — not just military, but spiritual covering. Sending teachers throughout Judah with the “Book of the Revelation of God” (likely the Torah or existing OT Scriptures). ...
