I have picked up this piece of the scripture to admire the faith and trust that he kept on the Lord to inspire us.  The scripture started that some years later God decided to test Abraham . This is a challenge part- None of us to escape if God decided to test us- When was the last time we went through such testing phase- When we get closure to Him, we can recognize God's answers, navigations both to the mountains as well as to the valleys.  Testing leads into path to triumph, however it's a difficult experience when we are in the testing window. Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab as the Lord said.  After some time later, Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died at the ago of 110 at the land of Ephraim. These two prominent leaders (Moses and Joshua) were gone and a big void in the leadership role created. They both had experienced all the Works of the Lord that the Lord had done for Israel.  However the Israelites quickly got the prompt to ask the LORD.
