God's way is the Power

God's way is God's Power

Reference- 1 Cor 4:20 MSG - God’s Way is not a matter of mere talk; it’s an empowered life!!

In 1 Corinthians, Paul speaks to a divided church where some were proud, eloquent, and believed they were spiritually superior because of their words and wisdom. He contrasts this human pride with the true power of God, shown in the cross, in changed lives, and in the work of the Spirit, the God's Power.

It’s an empowered life—God’s ways are the true power, not found in mere talk, endless words, idle chatter, or impressive responses built on layers of discussion. It is a life empowered by the power of His Spirit, the presence of the Holy Spirit. It is power that breaks chains, sets us free, anoints us, and creates new opportunities, fresh paths, flourishing streams, divine strategies, abundant life, and limitless expansion.

Paul didn’t ask the Corinthians to be practical. It’s not about having everything, but about having Him alongside others. That’s why he said he’d rather gain Christ and lose the world—WORD versus WORLD. It’s about deeper dependence on His Word, His presence, His power, and His empowered life. This draws us closer to the power of the Holy Spirit, the Dunamis. After all, we may have ten thousand teachers in faith, but we need spiritual guardians. We may look like misfits, fools, considered weak, small, despised, hungry, and thirsty for Christ’s sake—and that’s the difference.

Those Spiritual Fathers will share how to recognize God's Kingdom and His ways in our weakness, for it’s then we are made strong by His power—that’s God’s way. In sickness, we are healed; in poverty, we are made wealthy; in times of curse, Christ empowers us with His deliverance. Our reputation may be at risk, but God changes our destination when we depend on Him. In trials and uncertainties, He is the solid and firm foundation—stepping in when nothing seems possible, turning dead situations into miracles and God-blessed testimonies. When we rely on Him, His way brings favour, assurance, confirmation, healing, and complete wholeness.

Dear Father, we know Your Kingdom is power, and Your ways are wonderful; enabling us to share the Light with others as You have intended. Thank You for letting Your power flow through us to nourish others; thank You for Your light shining in our hearts, minds, and souls. Let us be Your channel to carry Your presence, bringing deliverance and guidance to others. Help us to humble ourselves before You and empty ourselves so You can fill us afresh, as needed for Feb 26. Let us be a living example, revealed by Your power and ways in our lives, to fulfil the purpose and Kingdom principles You designed. Go before us to straighten, level, fill, and smooth the path we pursue. We want to show more of You in our lives, not just through words or appearances. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

because GOD the LORD is the Rock eternal

because GOD the LORD is the Rock eternal Reference- Isaiah 26:3-4 remains true and steadfast today: "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal." The Command: Trust - You've beautifully captured the heart of our walk with God—whether He says stay, move, wait, or build, our singular response must be trust. This isn't passive resignation but active reliance on the One who holds all things. The Foundation: His Character. Our trust isn't grounded in circumstances but in who He is: Our Everlasting Rock—unchanging, unmovable Our Fortress and Shield—our protection and defense Omniscient and Omnipotent—all-knowing, all-powerful Faithful in covenant—"I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5) Working all things for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28) Enduring in mercy—"His love endures forever" (Psalm 136:1) Th...

Thirsting for God

Shabbat Shalom from Kent, London Thirsting for God! Reference Ps 63:1-4 David expressed a deep longing to seek the Lord, saying, "My soul longs, my flesh sighs, and my body faints for You." This spiritual attitude reflects a desire to yearn for Him like a stream in a scorching desert, a waterless and troubled land seeking relief, or a barren, trackless dry land. Such devotion is only possible by keeping Him in the first and foremost place, always declaring Him as our Lord and God. David had every reason to be completely surrounded by and magnify Him wholeheartedly. He witnessed His Power and Glory while worshiping in the wilderness. He discovered the secret to remaining in the sanctuary, seeking Him, and gazing upon Him in the temple. Moses pleaded with the Lord, saying, "Please show me YOUR Glory" (Exodus 33). Isaiah saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted (Isaiah 6). John proclaimed that "The WORD became flesh and made His dwelling among us" (J...
