At the altar, our destiny is altered

At the altar, our destiny is altered...

Reference- Job 37:23-24 MSG

“Mighty God! Far beyond our reach!
    Unsurpassable in Power and Justice!
It’s unthinkable that HE would treat anyone unfairly.
So bow to HIM in deep reverence, one and all!
If you’re wise, you’ll most certainly worship HIM.”

God is unfolding His story in His own way.

The Sovereign and Supreme Ruler is in control of everyone, everything, and everywhere, and the accuser must seek His permission before acting against us. He sees us as His own, and we belong to Him just as He belongs to us. As Job said, God can do all things, and no purpose of His can be stopped (42:2).

The Just and Righteous Judge – Our God is fundamentally just, and it’s unthinkable that He would treat anyone unfairly. His rule and governance are righteous, even if at times our eyes, ears, and hearts may not fully understand.

The source of all wisdom and revelation is God, whose knowledge is complete unlike human understanding. The Bible teaches that true wisdom and understanding come from Elohim. The fear of the Lord is wisdom, and turning away from evil is understanding (28:28).

The Sovereign who tests and refines- God sometimes allows testing—not out of cruelty, but for a set time and with a purpose. Every trouble has an expiry date, and in the end, these challenges or trials will ultimately lead to praise or a deeper faith.

But He knows where I am and what I’ve done. He can cross-examine me all He wants, and I’ll pass the test with honours. I’ve followed Him closely, my feet in His footprints (23:10)

It’s all about refining, not destroying. This leads to greater, wider, higher, and deeper blessings, along with a more profound knowledge of God. Blessed is the one who remains steadfast under trial. When we have stood the test, we will receive the crown of life! Amen.

The God of Grace and Restoration—Job is the perfect example of gaining and losing according to His purpose. He said, “The Lord gave, the Lord has taken away” (1:21). So, what remains is simply, “Blessed be the Name of the Lord.” The Lord will never allow certain things to disrupt our purpose-filled destiny.

The altar of surrender alters the trajectory of our faith.

He will restore us from all losses. His nickname is the Provider of Double for the Trouble. God blessed Job with twice as much as he had before.

Ps 103:1-2 - NIV - Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise His Holy Name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all His benefits.

Dear Father, You are the Sovereign King, the Righteous Judge, the only Wise God, the Refiner of the Faith, and the Gracious Restorer. We lay our lives at the altar, admiring Your greatness, power, authority, and loving-kindness. We give You honour and praise. Worthy are You, our Lord; righteous are You, O Lord. When I reflect on the times we have been tested, I rejoice, for they result in transformation and bring forth golden opportunities. We bless Your name continually. You have revealed Yourself to us by helping us find You. You have helped us in impossible situations—splitting the sea, drying up the river, making walls fall, healing every kind of sickness (nothing escapes You), removing all types of curses, and strengthening our weaknesses. We bow to You in deep reverence. Let Your will be done in our lives as it is in Heaven. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

When Grace Wears Thin

When Grace Wears Thin Reference: Ps 106 We often speak of God’s patience—and for good reason. Psalm 106 paints a vivid picture of steadfast, covenant-keeping love. Yet hidden within this hymn of praise is a sobering list that raises a hard question: What finally pushes God's patience to test His limit? According to the psalmist, the Israelites didn’t just make a single mistake—they formed a habit. The Spiral It started with forgetfulness. Barely beyond the Red Sea—the very place of their salvation—they were already defying the God who had just parted waters for them. Freedom faded from memory faster than the Egyptian chariots sank. F orgetfulness – They took God’s wonders for granted and forgot His love immediately after being saved.  Cravings – They selfishly demanded their own desires in the desert, testing God. Jealousy – They grew jealous of Moses and Aaron, rebelling against God’s chosen leaders. Idolatry – They made a golden calf at Horeb, worshiping a statue instead of God. ...

Prayer is tactical, transactional and transformative practice in the Bible.

Yes, prayer in the Bible is indeed **tactical**, **transactional**, and **transformative**. Each of these aspects highlights a different dimension of prayer, showing its depth and power in the life of a believer. Let’s explore these three dimensions with biblical examples and insights: --- ### **1. Prayer is Tactical** Prayer is a **spiritual weapon** and a strategic tool in the believer’s life. It is used to engage in spiritual warfare, seek God’s guidance, and advance His kingdom. - **Biblical Example**: **Ephesians 6:18**     Paul instructs believers to "pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests." This is part of the "armor of God," showing that prayer is a tactical weapon in spiritual battles.    - **Application**:     Prayer is not passive; it is an active, intentional practice to combat evil, break strongholds, and bring God’s will to earth. It is a way to align ourselves with God’s strategies and overcome th...
