To Unlock Encounters

Dear Church Family,

Have you ever stood at the threshold of a divine encounter, like Ananias in Acts 9:10–19? He was called to step into a moment that seemed uncertain, even dangerous—yet his simple act of faithful obedience unlocked a transformation that would change the world.

God is still moving through ordinary people who make themselves available —from Ananias, who prayed for his enemy, to the widow who gave her last portion.. He uses our presence, our prayers, and our willingness to step into His story.
We invite you to join us for a sacred time of corporate prayer—a gathering designed not just to talk about God’s power, but to witness it in motion.
Monthly Intercessory Prayer Meeting

📅 Date: Saturday, 1 November 2025
⏰ Time: 7:00 AM
📍 Location: BCC, The Church 2MH Campus
🎯 Theme: To Unlock Encounters

Come expectant. Come ready to participate. Let’s gather not as spectators, but as active vessels through whom the Holy Spirit can move. As Jesus promised:
“When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action.”
— Matthew 18:19 (MSG)

An online link will be shared for those unable to join in person—but we encourage you to make every effort to be there physically. There is a unique grace when the family of God gathers in one place, with one heart, seeking His face.
Let’s come together and unlock what God wants to do in us and through us.

In faith and expectation,

The BCC Prayer Team

*Where Heaven Touched Earth: A Testimony from Our November Gathering*

On a sacred morning, twenty-four faithful souls—eighteen in the sanctuary, six uniting online—gathered as one voice before Heaven’s throne. What unfolded was more than a prayer meeting. It was a divine encounter where chains broke, doors opened, and God’s Glory descended.

*We Stepped into Our Ananias Moment*

Just as Ananias obeyed the Lord’s call to pray for Saul (Acts 9), we said “Yes” to divine assignments. In response, God broke bondages like padlocks, released deliverance, and restored vision—spiritually and physically. We felt the fire of His presence, a heavenly host surrounding us as we interceded for nations, leaders, churches, and families. From Jamaica to our local communities, we declared His Word with authority and watched as principalities trembled.

*We Stood in the Gap—and Heaven Moved*

We lifted lifeless situations before the One for whom nothing is impossible. We spoke life, called forth revival beyond denominations, and carried His anointing into the 11th month—clothed in confidence, assurance, and prophetic promises. Each of the twenty-four now carries a tangible mark of His Spirit—a holy thirst that turns everyday moments into divine appointments.

*This Is Only the Beginning*

Join us on *December 6* for another powerful morning of encounter and intercession. Can’t wait? Be refreshed with us *every Sunday at 8 AM* as we begin each week in His presence and partnership.

To God—the Chain-Breaker, Way-Maker, and Promise-Keeper—be all Glory, forever.

Boldness

Boldness Reference: Heb 4:12-16 We do not have to tiptoe toward God. We can always enter His presence—not only when in need, full, or facing challenges. His Word pierces soul and spirit, joints and marrow. He knows our thoughts and intentions before we ask or think. So the author of Hebrews urges us: boldly approach the throne of Grace. Receive daily bread, seasonal help, mercies, and Grace He has already arranged. In time of need, at the right time, He will help us. As Peter assured, submit obediently in His hand. Confidence: Not because the week went well. Not because your prayers feel mature. Because the curtain tore. Confidence isn't arrogance. It's knowing God left the door open.  The barrier didn't get thin—it split wide open. The King on the throne is also our High Priest. He knows our weakness from the inside. We are not interrupting Him. We have been invited. Gentle invitation. Urgent invitation. If Grace finds us and fills the room, what happens to the pressure to...

The Lifestyle of David - Faith, Trust and Prayer

The Lifestyle of David - Faith, Trust and Prayer Reference - 1 Sam 17, Ps 59 and 2 Sam 15 David was known as a man after God’s own heart, as witnessed by God Himself. The Bible reveals many reasons for this, but one of the most notable is his unwavering faith—trusting God completely and placing all his hope in the One who is more than able to guide him. I would like to discuss three scenarios and observe his responses to inspire our faith and draw us closer to Him. 1) When the Israelite army fled from Goliath, David stood his ground, boldly declaring the giant’s defeat before the fight even began, trusting entirely in the Name of the Lord rather than physical weapons. With a single stone, David struck Goliath down, vindicated God’s Name, routed the Philistine army, and proved to all that the battle belongs to the Lord. He proclaimed victory before the clash, relying not on spear, sword, or javelin, but on the Lord’s power. David said, in 1 Sam 17:45-47, “You come against me with sword,...

Prayer is tactical, transactional and transformative practice in the Bible.

Yes, prayer in the Bible is indeed **tactical**, **transactional**, and **transformative**. Each of these aspects highlights a different dimension of prayer, showing its depth and power in the life of a believer. Let’s explore these three dimensions with biblical examples and insights: --- ### **1. Prayer is Tactical** Prayer is a **spiritual weapon** and a strategic tool in the believer’s life. It is used to engage in spiritual warfare, seek God’s guidance, and advance His kingdom. - **Biblical Example**: **Ephesians 6:18**     Paul instructs believers to "pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests." This is part of the "armor of God," showing that prayer is a tactical weapon in spiritual battles.    - **Application**:     Prayer is not passive; it is an active, intentional practice to combat evil, break strongholds, and bring God’s will to earth. It is a way to align ourselves with God’s strategies and overcome th...
