Shabbat Shalom from Kent London

God knows. God sends. God finishes.

The life of Elijah offers a powerful glimpse into a God-driven lifestyle, one that is far from ordinary and filled with excitement. Every account of the remarkable partnership between God and Elijah is truly mind-blowing, revealing extraordinary events and divine interventions. Walking this path ensures that no day is ever routine, as each moment is charged with purpose, wonder, and the undeniable presence of God’s hand at work.

One fine day, he was handed the ultimate heavenly “to-do list” – appear before the King and deliver the latest divine update, straight from God’s celestial news desk. This is classic Prophet territory: always tuned in to the Lord’s frequency, ready to catch His next move, announcement, or unexpected plot twist. Whether it’s high noon or the middle of the night, the mission is clear—off we go, galloping toward the people, then the king, then the entire kingdom, like divinely inspired messengers who’ve had far too much holy coffee.

The message was no walk in the park, but that’s God’s department, not ours. There’s no suggestion box in heaven for rating it as okay, good, or bad. Prophets are basically the divine postal service, delivering celestial memos exactly as they arrive—no editing, no returns, and certainly no refunds.

In 1 Kings 17:1 CEVUK One day Elijah went to King Ahab and said, “I'm a servant of the living LORD, the God of Israel. And I swear in his name that it won't rain until I say so. There won't even be any dew on the ground.”
That’s it—straightforward delivery. No sugarcoating, no need to add anything fancy just because I’m addressing the King. The introduction, the message, and its details are all that matter. There’s no space for assumptions or miscommunication.

Elijah’s path after 1 Kings 17 unfolds like a prophetic journey marked by obedience, provision, confrontation, and glory—a divine blueprint meant to spark bold faith in 2025 and 2026. It’s a Spirit-filled timeline of his movements and key moments, each one declaring: God knows, God leads, and God completes what He begins.

  • Kerith Ravine (1 Kings 17:2–6)- God hid him to feed him. Elijah was led to a secluded brook east of the Jordan. For likely over a year, ravens brought him bread and meat. In a dry season, God’s provision was supernatural. God is preparing you with daily bread for future fire.
  • Zarephath in Sidon (1 Kings 17:7–24)- God sent him to a widow in enemy territory. Elijah stayed with her during the drought—possibly two years. There, he witnessed miraculous provision and raised her son from the dead. In this season, expect miracles in unlikely places. God sends you where life is waiting to be revived.
  • Mount Carmel (1 Kings 18) - God called him to confront the false. After three years, Elijah returned to challenge Ahab and the prophets of Baal. Fire fell. The people turned. Rain returned. This is the season to call down fire. Don’t fear the showdown—Heaven backs your voice.
  • Wilderness and Mount Horeb (1 Kings 19)- God met him in the whisper. After Jezebel’s threat, Elijah fled in fear. But God met him with food, rest, and a still small voice at Horeb. Even when weary, God restores. Let us listen for the whisper that reignites your purpose.
  • Anointing Elisha (1 Kings 19:19–21) - God gave him a successor. Elijah found Elisha ploughing and threw his cloak over him. A new generation was activated. Do raise up others. Our obedience multiplies legacy.
  • Final Circuit: Gilgal → Bethel → Jericho → Jordan (2 Kings 2)- God led him on a farewell tour. Elijah visited prophetic hubs, mentoring Elisha along the way. Our journey isn’t random—it’s a relay. Pass the fire with purpose.
  • Ascension at the Jordan (2 Kings 2:11) - God took him up in a whirlwind. A chariot of fire appeared, and Elijah was carried to Heaven. Elisha caught the mantle. When our race is done, our legacy will thunder on. Heaven remembers every step.

From hidden brooks to fiery mountains, from fear to Glory—Elijah’s path is a prophetic blueprint for those who walk with God. In this season, may we move with bold obedience, knowing: God knows. God sends. God finishes.

Father God, Our Lord of the Whirlwind, You know the path before we take a step. You lead us to brooks, to widows, to kings, to mountains. Even when the way is hidden or hard, You are near. Let us walk like Elijah—with boldness, obedience, and unwavering trust. May we speak what You say, go where You send, and raise up those You’ve chosen. In every season—quiet or fiery—let Your whisper guide us. We believe You are orchestrating revival. We say yes to Your business. We say yes to Your Glory. in Jesus Name, Amen

God Blesses Israel and us.

At the altar, our destiny is altered

At the altar, our destiny is altered... Reference-  Job 37:23-24 MSG “Mighty God! Far beyond our reach!     Unsurpassable in Power and Justice!     It’s unthinkable that HE would treat anyone unfairly. So bow to HIM in deep reverence, one and all!     If you’re wise, you’ll most certainly worship HIM.” God is unfolding His story in His own way. The Sovereign and Supreme Ruler is in control of everyone, everything, and everywhere, and the accuser must seek His permission before acting against us. He sees us as His own, and we belong to Him just as He belongs to us. As Job said, God can do all things, and no purpose of His can be stopped (42:2). The Just and Righteous Judge – Our God is fundamentally just, and it’s unthinkable that He would treat anyone unfairly. His rule and governance are righteous, even if at times our eyes, ears, and hearts may not fully understand. The source of all wisdom and revelation is God , whose knowledge is complete unlike ...

God's way is the Power

God's way is God's Power Reference- 1 Cor 4:20 MSG -  God’s Way is not a matter of mere talk; it’s an empowered life!! In 1 Corinthians, Paul speaks to a divided church where some were proud, eloquent, and believed they were spiritually superior because of their words and wisdom. He contrasts this human pride with the true power of God, shown in the cross, in changed lives, and in the work of the Spirit, the God's Power. It’s an empowered life—God’s ways are the true power, not found in mere talk, endless words, idle chatter, or impressive responses built on layers of discussion. It is a life empowered by the power of His Spirit, the presence of the Holy Spirit. It is power that breaks chains, sets us free, anoints us, and creates new opportunities, fresh paths, flourishing streams, divine strategies, abundant life, and limitless expansion. Paul didn’t ask the Corinthians to be practical . It’s not about having everything, but about having Him alongside others. That’s why h...

Efforts that counts...

Efforts that counts... Reference- 2 Ch 17  Context: King Jehoshaphat was a seeker and follower of the God of his father and was obedient to HIM; he wasn’t like Israel (at that time, Ahab was ruling Israel). And God secured the kingdom under his rule, gave him a firm grip on it. And everyone in Judah showed their appreciation by bringing gifts. Jehoshaphat ended up very rich and much honoured. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone - Apostle James in 2:17 Efforts that showed his intention to Seek and Keep Him: Sticking to the ways of Asa (his godly father). Rejecting Baal — non-conformity to the ungodly culture. Removing high places and Asherah poles. This is personal reformation — the king putting his own house in order spiritually. Efforts that enabled others to Seek and Keep Him: Building defences — not just military, but spiritual covering. Sending teachers throughout Judah with the “Book of the Revelation of God” (likely the Torah or existing OT Scriptures). ...
