We must keep our eyes on Jesus Christ - 05 Jul 2025

We must keep our eyes on Jesus Christ - 05 Jul 2025 Reference: Heb 12:2   Let us come together in prayer, trusting in God’s love and power to work in our lives.   1. He is the ultimate example of faith and endurance – Heb 12:2-3 – fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him, He endured the cross.   2. We are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses – Is 40:31 – those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength, will soar on wings like eagles, will run and not grow weary, will walk and not faint.   3. Until He shows His mercy – Ps 123:2 – as the eyes of servants look to the hands of their masters, and the eyes of maids to the hands of their mistresses, so our eyes look to the Lord our God until He has mercy on us.   We are watching, waiting, holding our breath, longing for Your word of mercy, God!   Ruth – Boaz – Favour   Elijah – Elisha – Focus   Daniel – Den...

From Desperation to Deliverance, From Darkness to Abundant Life

The Persistent Cry Our desperate faith and the resulting testimony that shows the community "The Way" to life in Christ. Key Scripture: Mark 10:46-52 (NIV) – The Healing of Blind Bartimaeus. “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.” 1. The Reality of Desperate Need: "Acknowledging Our Darkness" (Bartimaeus was sitting by the roadside, begging.) Inspiration : Bartimaeus had no illusions about his condition. He was blind, destitute, and powerless to change his situation. This is where all true deliverance begins—with the raw, honest admission of our need, our "blindness," whether it's spiritual, emotional, physical, or relational. What is the "blindness" in our lives, our families, or our community that we have been begging for help with? God is not afraid of our desperation...

Thank God.

Shabbat Shalom from Kent, London - 28Nov25 Thank God!!! Scripture Reference- Psalms 107. Psalm 107 is a powerful song of testimonies, vividly portraying God’s sovereignty over both creation and nations (vv. 33–42). David celebrates the Lord’s mighty works, describing how He transforms rivers into deserts (if we start doing wrong) and barren wastelands into fertile (if we trust HIM with Wholehearted), life-giving land: He brings down the proud in humility and raises up the needy in compassion. The psalm ties the act of thanksgiving to the profound recognition of God’s control over history and the natural world, showing that gratitude flows from acknowledging His hand in all things. It concludes with a stirring call for the wise to reflect deeply on the steadfast love of the Lord (v. 43), revealing that thanksgiving is not only an act of worship but also a defining mark of true wisdom. V21 says, we should Praise the Lord for HIS Love and for the Wonderful things He does for all of us! Th...

God knows. God sends. God finishes.

Shabbat Shalom from Kent London  God knows. God sends. God finishes. Reference 1 Kg 17 The life of Elijah offers a powerful glimpse into a God-driven lifestyle, one that is far from ordinary and filled with excitement. Every account of the remarkable partnership between God and Elijah is truly mind-blowing, revealing extraordinary events and divine interventions. Walking this path ensures that no day is ever routine, as each moment is charged with purpose, wonder, and the undeniable presence of God’s hand at work. One fine day, he was handed the ultimate heavenly “to-do list” – appear before the King and deliver the latest divine update, straight from God’s celestial news desk. This is classic Prophet territory: always tuned in to the Lord’s frequency, ready to catch His next move, announcement, or unexpected plot twist. Whether it’s high noon or the middle of the night, the mission is clear—off we go, galloping toward the people, then the king, then the entire kingdom, like divine...

What is the JESUS Way?

Shabbat Shalom from Kent, London What is the JESUS Way? Reference: Jn 14:4-6 Confused Thomas reflects the world today—individuals and families alike. We’re lost, longing, searching for direction, weighed down by stress, facing struggles, and caught in a whirlwind of mixed feelings—constantly fighting or stretching to keep going. What is the expectation of the world? It is a longing for direction and purpose. Jesus desires to lead the world, yet we often find ourselves questioning and doubting His guidance. At the crossroads of life, delays, distractions, difficult decisions, and disappointments amplify the cry for clarity and hope. In the midst of these challenges, the yearning for divine direction grows stronger, echoing through the hearts of those seeking a path forward. Doubts aren’t wrong, and they don’t mark the end—they’re often the start of deeper understanding. In a world of competing truths, shifting values, and endless options, Jesus offers Himself as the unchanging answer....

Thirsting for God

Shabbat Shalom from Kent, London Thirsting for God! Reference Ps 63:1-4 David expressed a deep longing to seek the Lord, saying, "My soul longs, my flesh sighs, and my body faints for You." This spiritual attitude reflects a desire to yearn for Him like a stream in a scorching desert, a waterless and troubled land seeking relief, or a barren, trackless dry land. Such devotion is only possible by keeping Him in the first and foremost place, always declaring Him as our Lord and God. David had every reason to be completely surrounded by and magnify Him wholeheartedly. He witnessed His Power and Glory while worshiping in the wilderness. He discovered the secret to remaining in the sanctuary, seeking Him, and gazing upon Him in the temple. Moses pleaded with the Lord, saying, "Please show me YOUR Glory" (Exodus 33). Isaiah saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted (Isaiah 6). John proclaimed that "The WORD became flesh and made His dwelling among us" (J...

The Tabernacle

The Tabernacle of Moses was a portable sanctuary built by the Israelites in the wilderness under God's specific instructions (Exodus 25-40). It was the center of their worship and a profound visual representation of God's holiness and the plan of redemption. Its parts can be understood by dividing them into three main sections: The Outer Court, The Holy Place, and The Most Holy Place (Holy of Holies). The entire complex was arranged in a rectangular pattern. --- I. The Outer Court (The Courtyard) This was a large fenced-in area (150 feet long by 75 feet wide) where the general population could enter. It was about holiness and separation from the outside world. 1. The Fence (Gate Enclosure):    · Description: A wall of fine linen curtains held up by 60 bronze pillars.    · Significance: It separated the holy space from the common camp. The only way in was through the gate. 2. The Gate (Entrance):    · Description: Located on the east side, it was a curtain o...

Focus on your completeness in Jesus

Don’t focus on your lack. Instead, focus on your completeness in Jesus... Declare and Decree... • “Jesus, You are my wisdom; I put on the mind of Christ.” • “Jesus, You are my peace; I have the serenity that passes all human understanding.”, • “Jesus, You are my strength; I can do all things relying on your power.” • “Jesus, You are my rock; I can stand firm in you.”

5 verses to Confess always....

5 verses to Confess always.... • The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me], I shall not want. He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still and quiet waters. Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, And I shall dwell forever throughout all my days in the house and in the presence of the Lord. Psalms 23:1‭-‬2‭, ‬6 AMP • The Lord will accomplish that which concerns me; Your unwavering lovingkindness, O Lord, endures forever— Do not abandon the works of Your own hands. Psalms 138:8 AMP • Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything every circumstance and situation by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your specific requests known to God. And the peace of God that peace which reassures the heart, that peace which transcends all understanding, that peace which stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus is yours. Philippians 4:6‭-‬7 AMP • but just as ...

By His Grace, Let God Work!

By His Grace, Let God Work! Remember that …it's His Grace • God is with you. He knows exactly where you are and what you’re facing—and He’s walking with you, providing for and protecting you along the way. • He has an important purpose for the seasons of adversity you face. In order to make you His useful and effective representative, the Father trains you in the fires of adversity.  • You’re in a spiritual battle (Eph. 6:12, 2 Cor 10: 4-5). You have a real enemy who strikes at the core of who you are. But through Jesus’ example in Matthew 4, you can resist the devil’s disheartening lies with courage and the powerful truth of Scripture. • You must express thanks to God, regardless of what happens (1 Thess. 5:18). You must give thanks in every situation and delay you face, courageously trusting in the One who will ultimately bring you through. • Take courage—there’s a limit to the delays and sufferings in your life. They will only continue as long as it is necessary...
