You Are God

Shabbat Shalom from Kent, London- 12 Sep 2025

Everlasting to Everlasting, YOU ARE GOD!

Scripture Reference: Ps 90:1-17

Ps 90 is also called the Prayer of Moses. It begins with the recognition of God's eternal nature, a meditation that highlights His unchanging essence in contrast to the fragile and fleeting nature of humanity. When we declare and decree the three key points below, it transforms the atmosphere, regardless of our circumstances or surroundings!

  • You Are God
  • You are Our God
  • You have been our our dwelling place, our Home forever!
What an uplifting declaration of faith! It truly transforms everything we are part of.
  • He is our habitation, Who was, is, is to come. He is the Alpha and Omega.
  • He is HOLY.
  • HOLY HOLY HOLY is the LORD GOD Almighty, WHO WAS, IS, IS TO COME.
  • Worthy is He, Our God, the LORD to receive GLORY, HONOR, POWER.
  • He is the ONE who lives forever!

Our Father in Heaven, teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. We may not know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future. Let us number our days correctly, to gain a wise heart. Teach us to live well, wisely and well. Have compassion on us, satisfy us in the morning with YOUR unfailing love. Make us glad for as we have faced many challenges and afflictions. May Your deeds shown to Your servants. May we see what YOU ARE BEST AT. May the favour of the LORD Our GOD rest on us. Father God, Establish the work of our hands for us. Affirm the work that we do at Church, community, family and work. In Jesus Name, Amen.

O LORD, YOU will establish Peace for us. For all that we have accomplished, YOU have done for us!! Is 26:13

Peace be upon the State of Israel and us. Shalom. Have a Good Weekend.

Root verb: τηρέω (tēreō) — not the more common Greek word for "obey" (peithomai/hypakouō, meaning to submit to authority), but a word that literally means "to guard," "to watch over," "to keep watch". It's the word used for a guard keeping watch at a post, or someone safeguarding a treasure. Love is defined by obedience, not sentiment. Jesus doesn't say "if you love me, feel devoted to me" — he ties love to concrete action. In John's Gospel, love is verifiable; it shows up in behaviour, not just emotion. The Greek verb for "keep" (tērēsete) is future tense and follows a conditional — love isn't presented as a prerequisite for a transaction ("obey...
