May 2021-David's strategy and God's confirmation to the breakthrough

⏲ 3 mins

Place: Valley of Rephaim

Scene1: Philistines spread out for the battle against David.
David: Shall I go up?
God: Go up.
David: Will you hand them over to me?
God: I will certainly hand over to you.
David: After defeating them, David said that, Thank you, You are the Master of breakthroughs aka Baal-perazim.

So David came to Baal-perazim, and he defeated them there, and said, “The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” So he named that place Baal-perazim (master of breakthroughs). 2 Samuel 5:19-20 AMP

Scene2: Philistines spread out for the battle against David.
David: Shall I go up?
God: No. You shall not go up.
David: What is the plan?
God: Circle around behind them and come at them in front of the balsam trees. And when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then you shall pay attention and act promptly, for at that time *the Lord will have gone out before you* to strike the army of the Philistines.”
David: Thank you.

David did just as the Lord had commanded him and struck down the Philistines from Geba as far as Gezer. 2 Samuel 5:25 AMP

The simple and smart strategy that David applied during his expansion as the king is that checking with God. *Prayer* is the way forward to get Break throughs. In other words, Prayer *brings Break Through*. Amen.

May the Lord lead us through victory, help us to overcome the setbacks. May the Master of Break throughs enable us to conquer forts, barriers, and great walls to expand our horizons. Let's give a big shout out of Praises to the Lord and bring Glory to His Name in everything we do, receive in this new month (May 2021) . In the Name of the Jesus Name, the Prophesied Messiah. Amen.

God Blesses Israel and Us. 🙏🙏🙏

In His Grip,

τηρήσετε (tērēsete)- you will guard, keep watch over Reference: John 14:15 — "If you love me, keep my commandments" — sits at a hinge point in Jesus's Farewell discourse, right before HE promises the Holy Spirit (the "Advocate"/Paraclete). Root verb: τηρέω (tēreō) — not the more common Greek word for "obey" (peithomai/hypakouō, meaning to submit to authority), but a word that literally means "to guard," "to watch over," "to keep watch". It's the word used for a guard keeping watch at a post, or someone safeguarding a treasure. Love is defined by obedience, not sentiment. Jesus doesn't say "if you love me, feel devoted to me" — he ties love to concrete action. In John's Gospel, love is verifiable; it shows up in behaviour, not just emotion. The Greek verb for "keep" (tērēsete) is future tense and follows a conditional — love isn't presented as a prerequisite for a transaction ("obey...

Moving Mountains: Why Prayer Transforms Everything

Moving Mountains: Why Prayer Transforms Everything “Have faith in God,” Jesus said (Mark 11:22). Simple words, yet they hold the key to a transformed life. In this single passage, Jesus gives us the ultimate spiritual equation:  Prayer + Faith + Forgiveness = Transformation.  But why is prayer so essential? Because it forces us to stop looking at our problems and start looking at our Provider. Without prayer, we rely on our own limited strength. With prayer, we tap into omnipotence itself. Jesus makes a staggering promise: “Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (v. 24). This isn’t positive thinking; it’s supernatural authority. Prayer is effective because God backs His Word. When we speak to your “mountain” (our debts, illness, broken relationship) in faith, God moves on our behalf. But here is the transformative twist: prayer changes us before it changes our circumstances. Notice how Jesus ties prayer directly to forgiveness:...
