Shabbat Shalom from Kent, London - Mar 2021

🕑 25 mins

Shabbat Shalom from Kent, London.

And while all the people of Israel crossed over on dry ground, the priests stood firm on dry ground in the midst of crossing over the Jordan.

 Joshua 3:17 AMP

The Lord's yet another miracle result, God's display of the magnificent outcome, however this time, The Lord partnered with a new leader, who just took over from Moses, a new place, a new challenge, a new generation, a new battlefield and a new road block, the Jorden river flowed over all its banks. They need to cross over to take possession of the promise land.

Joshua got up early in the morning; then he and all the children of Israel set out from Shittim and came to the Jordan, the road block, , and they spent the night there before they crossed the river.

He said to the people, Sanctify yourselves for His purpose,  the Lord will do wonders miracles among you. He put his Faith on action.

No matter where we are in our journey in our own battlefield, whether at the edge (Beginning stage), or at the ground (Progressing), or at the finish line, let's make sure to associate with the Lord of Hosts, He will show His majesty and magnification and bring the Glory to His Name through us when we stand still and put our Faith on action.

On that day the Lord magnified and exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel

(Joshua 4:14 AMP). So that all the peoples of the earth may know without any doubt and acknowledge that the hand of the Lord is mighty and extraordinarily powerful, so that you will fear the Lord your God and obey and worship Him with profound awe and reverence forever.”Joshua 4:24 AMP

We will cross over the road block by His Grace. God Blesses Israel and Us. 🙏🙏🙏

Shabbat Shalom from Kent, London.

The crowd asked John the Baptist "What, then, should we do?" Lk 3:10.

One of the famous life questions from the Bible is recorded by Dr Luke through the soul-stirring preaching's of John the Baptist. We may have witnessed an advancement in technology, science and medicine, however this first centaury question is still circling around.

Glad to highlight the below takeaways to consume, engage and explore from John's message.

a) Turn from the world and seek God and His righteousness. The First step.

b) Produce fruit that is worthy of and consistent with our repentance. The challenging but commandment step.

c) Not a religious attachment but to attend great duties of service. In other words, Cease to do evil, learn to do well.

d) Bible based consistent message to one and all- whether it's a Tax collector, Exact no more than is appointed you or a soldier, Do violence to no man or to a believer, to gather the wheat aka believers into His barn aka kingdom

During this Lent season (2021), Let us rewind our calling and assess our position in Him by asking what then should we do the kingdom activities, share our version of testimony, give more than all the others and to bring Glory to His Name and His Kingdom, in Jesus Name. Amen.

God Blesses Israel and Us. 🙏🙏🙏

Shabbat Shalom from Kent, London.

Then beginning with Moses and throughout all the writings of the prophets, He explained and interpreted for them the things referring to Himself found in all the Scriptures.Luke 24:27 AMP

They said to one another, “Were not our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and opening the Scriptures to us?”Luke 24:32 AMP

There is a reason to this season (Easter). Resurrected Jesus's interaction with 2 disciples, on the road trip dialogue was very unique. If we wait for Him, He will reveal to us. V27 confirms that all the Scriptures about Him, explained and interpreted by Him directly. This is called Heart burning experience. Amen.

By His Grace, May we explore and experience such great walk during this season.

God Blesses Israel and Us. 🙏🙏🙏

Shabbat Shalom from Kent, London.

Just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life and allows them to live on, even so the Son also gives Life to whom He wishes. John 5:21 AMP

God has Power to raise the dead. The Power of raising the dead must be one of the highest attributes of the divinity. OT recorded two instances where it had been done. By the prophet Elijah (the son of the widow of Sarepta) and by the prophet Elisha (Shunamite's son).

Jesus is also attesting that He has the Power to do this in the same manner as the Father. Amen. NT recorded that He did raising dead (Lazarus & the widow's son at Nain & Jairus’s daughter) and did giving Spiritual Life to those who has believed, still does it in any instance.

There is a reason for this season. We will let Jesus Know that there are people in our lives, contacts, connections who needs His divine touch to taste the Life and it's fullness. May God be with us, enable us to intercede by standing in the gap, encourage us to take the first step to this Life changing journey, In Jesus Name, Amen.

God Blesses Israel and Us. 🙏🙏🙏

Boldness

Boldness Reference: Heb 4:12-16 We do not have to tiptoe toward God. We can always enter His presence—not only when in need, full, or facing challenges. His Word pierces soul and spirit, joints and marrow. He knows our thoughts and intentions before we ask or think. So the author of Hebrews urges us: boldly approach the throne of Grace. Receive daily bread, seasonal help, mercies, and Grace He has already arranged. In time of need, at the right time, He will help us. As Peter assured, submit obediently in His hand. Confidence: Not because the week went well. Not because your prayers feel mature. Because the curtain tore. Confidence isn't arrogance. It's knowing God left the door open.  The barrier didn't get thin—it split wide open. The King on the throne is also our High Priest. He knows our weakness from the inside. We are not interrupting Him. We have been invited. Gentle invitation. Urgent invitation. If Grace finds us and fills the room, what happens to the pressure to...

The Lifestyle of David - Faith, Trust and Prayer

The Lifestyle of David - Faith, Trust and Prayer Reference - 1 Sam 17, Ps 59 and 2 Sam 15 David was known as a man after God’s own heart, as witnessed by God Himself. The Bible reveals many reasons for this, but one of the most notable is his unwavering faith—trusting God completely and placing all his hope in the One who is more than able to guide him. I would like to discuss three scenarios and observe his responses to inspire our faith and draw us closer to Him. 1) When the Israelite army fled from Goliath, David stood his ground, boldly declaring the giant’s defeat before the fight even began, trusting entirely in the Name of the Lord rather than physical weapons. With a single stone, David struck Goliath down, vindicated God’s Name, routed the Philistine army, and proved to all that the battle belongs to the Lord. He proclaimed victory before the clash, relying not on spear, sword, or javelin, but on the Lord’s power. David said, in 1 Sam 17:45-47, “You come against me with sword,...

Prayer is tactical, transactional and transformative practice in the Bible.

Yes, prayer in the Bible is indeed **tactical**, **transactional**, and **transformative**. Each of these aspects highlights a different dimension of prayer, showing its depth and power in the life of a believer. Let’s explore these three dimensions with biblical examples and insights: --- ### **1. Prayer is Tactical** Prayer is a **spiritual weapon** and a strategic tool in the believer’s life. It is used to engage in spiritual warfare, seek God’s guidance, and advance His kingdom. - **Biblical Example**: **Ephesians 6:18**     Paul instructs believers to "pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests." This is part of the "armor of God," showing that prayer is a tactical weapon in spiritual battles.    - **Application**:     Prayer is not passive; it is an active, intentional practice to combat evil, break strongholds, and bring God’s will to earth. It is a way to align ourselves with God’s strategies and overcome th...
