I Ch 14 
After a bad incident, a great establishment is happening- Stay Tune in His presence. David faced a historic failure because he did not follow a procedure. He did allow non-levities to carry the Ark- a big breach and God punished Uzziah who touched it- He left the Ark at Obed-Edom’s house to ensure to take it when the remediation arranged. The family grows. But that does not stop David to thinking about Ark. Now the heart is going behind the Ark and preparation is in place. 
For some reasons, a different assignment (House construction and Enemies)  come along to finish it before restoring the Ark into Jerusalem. 
Two times Philistines attacked the valleys, but David inquired the Lord, as per assurance from the above, David tasted the victories.

  • Second time faced the war with a different strategy- Here, Direct Access, Discussion- no permission. 
  • David Fame increased, and everyone feared. 
  • While this is happening, the setback incident was always going on at the back of the mind.
