because GOD the LORD is the Rock eternal

because GOD the LORD is the Rock eternal

Reference- Isaiah 26:3-4 remains true and steadfast today: "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal."

The Command: Trust - You've beautifully captured the heart of our walk with God—whether He says stay, move, wait, or build, our singular response must be trust. This isn't passive resignation but active reliance on the One who holds all things.

The Foundation: His Character.
  • Our trust isn't grounded in circumstances but in who He is:
  • Our Everlasting Rock—unchanging, unmovable
  • Our Fortress and Shield—our protection and defense
  • Omniscient and Omnipotent—all-knowing, all-powerful
  • Faithful in covenant—"I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5)
  • Working all things for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28)
  • Enduring in mercy—"His love endures forever" (Psalm 136:1)
The Promise: Perfect Peace - This "perfect peace" (shalom shalom in Hebrew) isn't the absence of trouble but the presence of wholeness, completeness, and well-being that comes from:
  • A steadfast mind—fixed on Him, not circumstances
  • A trusting heart—relying on His timing and ways
  • A surrendered will—holding His hand as our strategy
Father God, because we trust You, we will hold Your hand—that's our strategy, that's our motive. We trust Your specific, progressive guidance. We will trust You always. This is the command we follow. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Today, may we fix our thoughts on Him, consuming our imagination with His faithfulness rather than our fears. May we walk in the perfect peace promised to those whose trust is anchored not in outcomes but in the Eternal Rock Himself.

The Lord is indeed worthy of our complete Trust...

Great are the Works of the Lord

Great Are the Works of the Lord *A Reflection on Psalm 111:1-10* Hallelujah! I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart—not just with my words, but with everything I've got. His works are so magnificent, so vast and beautiful, that they are worth a lifetime of study, wonder, and praise. When I look back over my journey, I see His hands at work everywhere. He rescued me when I was sinking. He has been caring for me, healing my wounds, protecting my steps, favouring me with Grace I don't deserve, and providing for my every need. He answers when I call, sees every tear I cry, guides my uncertain steps, and leads me through the darkness. He is sovereignly arranging all things for my good—straightening the crooked paths, levelling the mountains of impossibility, and filling the empty valleys of my soul. He knows me completely. He delivers me from bondage and heals my brokenness. When the battles of life rage around me, He fights for me. He never sleeps; He watches over me co...
