The Power of Balanced Life in Christ

03Oct25- Shabbat Shalom from Kent London The Power of Balanced Life in Christ. Scripture Reference: Pr 30:8 The Prayer of Augur, son of Jakesh, reflects a content, mature, and intentional cry to the Lord. It boldly asks for the removal of falsehood, provision of enough, and sustenance for our needs. This prayer is humble, raw, and reverent—a prayer of confession, crying out, and contentment. It embodies humility, honesty, and a hunger for truth. It expresses a longing for purity, trust, and a direct petition to God, creating space for God to work within us. Three segments of this prayer are astonishing, prompting us to re-examine, reflect, and refocus our attention on such an intense prayer. Submission - Asking to banish lying and liars from our presence is no easy task. We must approach it with balance and maturity, crying out for falsehood to be removed and deception kept far away. Let every worthless and false word, vanity, and emptiness be distanced from us. In a culture of extreme...

Inflection Point

An inflection point in mathematics is where a curve changes its direction of concavity, from concave up to concave down, or vice versa. In life, an "inflection point" is a significant turning point or a critical moment where a change in direction or outcome occurs. This can be a major decision, a life event, or a shift in perspective that alters one's life journey.  * Moses and the Burning Bush: Before this event, Moses was a shepherd. The burning bush was his inflection point, a divine calling that redirected his life's path from tending sheep to leading the Israelites out of slavery. (Exodus 3:1-12)  * Paul on the Road to Damascus: Saul was a persecutor of Christians. His encounter with Jesus on the road was a dramatic inflection point that changed his identity and purpose, transforming him into Paul, a leading apostle of Christianity. (Acts 9:1-19)  * Peter's Denial and Restoration: Peter's denial of Jesus was a low point, a crisis. His subsequent restorati...

The Power of Belief

Shabbat Shalom from Kent, London- 26Sep25 The Power of Belief Scripture Reference: Jn 14:1 -  Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me. Team Jesus gathered in the upper room, their hearts weighed down as they grappled with the difficult truth of Christ's upcoming departure. During this moment, Jesus shared teachings that still hold meaning for us today. Not to fix our gaze on inward fears. But lift our eyes in faith look outwards towards Him To press forward, rely in on His strength Not to be trapped backward by the past but to look upwards with Hope And keep moving in step with Heaven's call. It is far more than just a teaching or a source of comfort; it is a profound call to anchor our faith in Him as deeply as we trust in Father God. The phrase "Do not let your hearts be troubled" stands as a powerful reminder that challenges, fears, and anxieties are inevitable in life. Yet, He lovingly encourages us to surrender all our burdens to Hi...

The Power of Praise - Detail

The Power of Praise Scripture Reference: Ps 8:1-2 For David, it is both a fundamental habit and a way of life, something deeply ingrained since his early teenage years through political activities that shaped his journey, leading to his anointment as King and his remarkable leadership over the people for an impressive forty years. Ps 8:1- O LORD Our GOD, How excellent is Thy NAME in all Earth! You have set Your Glory above the heavens. You have displayed, revealed Your Majesty. Your Glory is higher than Heavens. Your Name is most wonderful Name in all the earth! Amen.  The secret revealed in Verse 2 is that the LORD has built a stronghold through the praise from the mouths of His children. Through the Praise of Children, You have silenced Your enemies and destroyed those who try to get even! Hallelujah. In other words, when we praise Him, He builds a fortress, silencing enemies, removing avengers, making foes flee, quieting opposition, and reversing the situation. The Bible contain...

You Are God

Shabbat Shalom from Kent, London- 12 Sep 2025 Everlasting to Everlasting, YOU ARE GOD! Scripture Reference: Ps 90:1-17 Ps 90 is also called the Prayer of Moses. It begins with the recognition of God's eternal nature, a meditation that highlights His unchanging essence in contrast to the fragile and fleeting nature of humanity. When we declare and decree the three key points below, it transforms the atmosphere, regardless of our circumstances or surroundings! You Are God You are Our God You have been our our dwelling place, our Home forever! What an uplifting declaration of faith! It truly transforms everything we are part of. He is our habitation, Who was, is, is to come. He is the Alpha and Omega.  He is HOLY. HOLY HOLY HOLY is the LORD GOD Almighty, WHO WAS, IS, IS TO COME. Worthy is He, Our God, the LORD to receive GLORY, HONOR, POWER. He is the ONE who lives forever! Our Father in Heaven, teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. We may not know what t...

Better is one Day in Your Court

Shabbat Shalom from Kent, London- 05Sep2025 Better is one Day in Your Court Scripture Reference: Ps 84:10 My desire as a believer is inspired by the statement David made in scripture: "For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere." I would rather stand as a doorkeeper in the house of my God than live comfortably in the tents of wickedness. I long to serve in the house of my God, stand at the gate, and spend time in Your temple. One day in Your house, the beautiful place of worship, surpasses thousands spent on Greek island beaches. I would rather scrub floors in the house of my God than be honoured as a guest in the palace of sin. Father God, Your dwelling place is beautiful. Our souls long for it, even to the point of fainting. Our hearts and flesh cry out, always praising You. We consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus, our Lord.(Php 3:8). Only one thing is necessary, Mary has chosen the good portion, and it wi...
