The meaning of Resurrection

This verse captures the heart of Easter: through Christ’s resurrection, believers receive a living hope—not just tied to the past, but alive in the present and assured for the future. The meaning of Resurrection for us is, first and foremost, victory over death—death no longer has the final word. While we often see death as the ultimate end, the resurrection changes that. It’s no longer an end point, but the beginning of a new life united with Him forever. 1 Corinthians 15:54–55- And when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then the Scripture will be fulfilled that says, “DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory and vanquished forever. O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?

The Father accepted Christ’s sacrifice as atonement for the shortfall. The Bible says everyone has sinned and fallen short. The resurrection assures the forgiveness of sin and, in turn, confirms that Christ’s sacrifice was accepted. - Romans 4:25 - God gave Jesus to die for our sins, and HE raised HIM to life, so that we would be made acceptable to the LORD.

Peter reassures the believers that the resurrection brings new life and hope, giving them a “living hope” and a fresh start. 1 Peter 1:3- Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His Great Mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

The beauty of the resurrection and living hope is that it allows us to live each day empowered, as Paul declared, the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in us as believers—Amen. - Romans 8:11- Therefore there is now no condemnation, no guilty verdict, no punishment or those who are in Christ Jesus who believe in Him as personal Lord and Saviour.

Anyone who believes in Christ and confesses that He is the Lord and Savior embraces new things, which we can call the assured future resurrection—confidence that all who trust in Christ will rise from the dead, receive forgiveness of sin, enter into living hope, and dwell in the power from above.- 1 Thessalonians 4:14 - For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with HIM the believers who have died.

This Easter season, no matter what we have faced in the past, facing in the present, will face in future, the resurrection reminds us that our hope is alive. As Paul emphasized, when Jesus returns—not if He returns—God will bring back with Him those who belong to Him. God will most certainly restore life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

An Invitation to Stand in the Gap – Easter Weekend Intercessory Meeting

16 Hours of Standing in the Gap along with 45 Prayer warriers – A Easter Weekend Summary Dear Prayer Warriors & BCC Family, This morning, as I reviewed my journal of what God has done this Easter weekend, I can only say: I Praise God for His Mercies.. From the Good Friday 12-hour session (which turned into almost 14 hours!), to the Saturday 2-hour Intercessory meeting (plus an extra 30 minutes), to the hour of prayer before our Sunday services—we have spent nearly 16 hours collectively inviting His presence to deal with the matters close to our hearts: our Church, our nations, our communities, and our families. And 45 of us showed up across these three occasions, cumulatively. That itself is a miracle that only our GOD could orchestrate. I thank God for His resurrected power that enables us to draw closer to Him, access His presence with all His fullness, and joyfully enjoy life—because He has already given us everything. Thank you for standing in the gap like Moses. Thank you for ...

Rabboni- My Teacher- a New way of Knowing HIM

Shabbat Shalom from Kent, London - 11Apr2025 Reference Scripture:  Jn 20:11-18 RABBONI - My Teacher- a New way of Knowing HIM. Mary Magdalene encounters the resurrected Jesus, in fact  very first one who recognised the resurrected Jesus. She followed Jesus faithfully after HE casted 7 demons out of her (Lk 8:2). It gave her more zeal on Him as she received a lot! She supported the Jesus Ministry. she stood near cross when the apostles fled or hid. she watched where JESUS was buried. Mary got up the morning after the Sabbath and went to the tomb to anoint Jesus's body. She found the tomb empty, with the stone rolled away. She reported the news to Peter and John, they came and saw the empty tomb, however they left. But Mary stayed behind, was weeping and asking herself, did someone had stolen the body? She asked disciples, we do not know where they have put Jesus Body?. She asked angels, I do not know where they have put Him. She asked asked Jesus himself (:)), If you have taken...
