It’s a new horizon

God’s wisdom is amazing. Contrary to fishing at night, Jesus asked his experienced and professional  fishermen  aka  disciples * to cast their nets on the right side in the morning *. Others on the shore would have laughed at them for fishing at the wrong time. Without any argument, His disciples obeyed His word. They caught 153 full large fishes, which  emphasizes the fact that * something extraordinary had happened, because Someone extraordinary was there *. . Its a great catch of fish,  but even with so many the net was not torn. F ishermen who had failed to catch even one fish during an entire night of work, this remarkable catch provided more evidence that their belief in Jesus Christ was well placed. Hallelujah!!! MHC says, He knows the temporal wants of his people, and has promised them not only grace sufficient, but food convenient. Divine Providence extends itself to things most minute, and those are happy who acknowledge God in all their ways. Amen. An...

Hannah Praying

Shabbat Shalom from Kent, London.  *Hannah Praying*  The lives of biblical figures challenge us to emulate their prayerful lifestyle. Their stories inspire us to persevere in prayer, trusting in God's ability to work through our petitions. Hannah, barren and sorrowful, cried out to the Lord. Her heart ached for a child, and she sought comfort in prayer. Though loved by her husband Elkanah and devoted to the Lord, her womb remained closed. Peninnah, her rival wife, mocked her, adding to her pain. She sought ADONAI'S intervention, promising to dedicate her future child to THE LORD’S service. Her prayer was heartfelt, passionate, and filled with both anguish and hope. Moved by Hannah's heartfelt plea, God answered her prayer. She conceived and gave birth to a son, whom she named Samuel. True to her promise, she dedicated Samuel to the LORD’S service, entrusting him to the care of the high priest, Eli. Hannah's life and prayer serves as an inspiration for the church today i...
