Living the Empowered Life — God’s Way - Feb 2026

07Feb26-Summary: Intercession Gathering | 1WMR Site, BCC The Church*

This morning, *18 intercessors* gathered not in word only, but in the *demonstrated power of the Holy Spirit.* In the spirit of 1 Corinthians 4:20, where Paul confronts a divided church with the truth that “God’s Way is not a matter of mere talk; it’s an empowered life,” we moved beyond discussion into divine encounter.

*Highlights of Our Time:*

*   *A Heart of Thanksgiving:* We began with Hannah’s prayer (1 Samuel 2:1–10), bursting with “God-news”—recognizing His unparalleled power to speak life into barrenness and fill homes with purpose and blessing.

*   *Focused, Layered Intercession:* In unity, we prayed in expanding circles—for Bromley, London, the UK, and every continent. We declared, like the early church, that “the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power” (Acts 19:20).

*   *Prophetic Declarations:* Pastor Mark led prayers for deliverance in families, church growth, financial freedom, and new opportunities. We stood as spiritual negotiators (like Abraham and Moses) and warriors, applying the authority of the blood of Jesus over every challenge.

*   *Learning from God’s Way:* We remembered Joshua at Jericho—a victory through obedience—and at Ai—a defeat that taught reliance. God’s way trains us to depend on Him, especially when we feel weak, saying, “We need more of You.”

*   *A Unified Call:* All are invited into this work—young and old, new and seasoned. The call is to move out of lukewarmness and darkness, dedicating our strength to the Lord, trusting He will change everything.

*   *Specific Petitions:* We lifted up nations, local councils, healing, welfare, breakthroughs, and the claiming of untouched territories for God’s Kingdom. We prayed for every generation, ministry expansions, building plans, and for Zeal, willing surrendering our lives to  Hi.

*   *A Commitment to Victory:* We prayed like Samuel at Ebenezer, asking God to act in His own mighty way, trusting Him for overwhelming victory. We left the Misbha—our meeting ground with the Lord—with holy determination, ready to do what He has assigned, knowing “the Lord is with you” (1 Samuel 10:7).

*Closing & Next Steps:*

Yolima closed our powerful two-hour session (which felt like moments) with a declaration of sanctification and the blessing of Yahweh Mekoddishkem, the God who sanctifies.

*Join us as we continue:*

*   *Next Intercession Gathering:* Saturday, 07 March 2026

*   *Weekly Prayer:* Sundays, 8 AM Hour of Prayer at The Loft

*   *Special Gathering:* Good Friday, 12-Hour Prayer (8 AM–8 PM). Join flexibly as you are able. Regular 10 AM Good Friday Worship will proceed in the main building.

As the Apostle Paul exhorted us: “I urge you, imitate me. For the Kingdom of God is not in talk, but in power.” (1 Corinthians 4:16, 20).

Let this be the atmosphere we breathe and the ground we stand on — not just in our gathering, but in our going. Let our lives and our prayers become the very expression of this truth.

Monthly Intercession Gathering

Living the Empowered Life — God’s Way

Beloved Intercessors,

This month, we are called into a deeper understanding of God’s Way — not as a topic of discussion, but as a reality of divine power alive in us. As Scripture reminds us:

“God’s Way is not a matter of mere talk; it’s an empowered life.”

1 Corinthians 4:20 (MSG)

. Leviticus 15:31 (MSG)- “You are responsible for keeping the People of Israel separate from that which makes them ritually unclean...”

. Matthew 5:14–16 (MSG) - “You’re here to be light... Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God...”

. Romans 12:1–2 - Present yourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God.

. Job 37:23–24 (MSG) - “Mighty God! Far beyond our reach! Unsurpassable in power and justice!”

. Genesis 18:17 (MSG) - “Shall I keep back from Abraham what I’m about to do?”

. And many more scriptures teaching us His ways....Come prepared to experience and exercise His ways in ours and others lives.

 *Prayer Focus:*

· Christ – His Lordship and power in the Church.

· Community – Being light that opens others to God.

· Church – Purity, unity, and Spirit-led action.

· Countries – Justice, mercy, and God’s miraculous intervention.

Join us as we pray in unity and faith:

God rewriting life stories

God rewriting life stories Reference Ps 18:20-24 Psalm 18:20–24 (The Message) captures David’s reflection on how God restored and renewed his life when he fully surrendered to Him. In Eugene Peterson’s paraphrase, the language feels vivid and personal—more like a heartfelt testimony than a formal psalm—showing how God restores, remakes, and redefines those who turn to Him. Amen. "God rewrote the text of my life when I opened the book of my heart to His eyes" is perhaps the most powerful image here. It shows that when David welcomed God into his innermost being, God transformed his story—redeeming it, reshaping it, and giving it new meaning and purpose. Hallelujah!  David says God “made my life complete” when he laid everything before Him, and that God “rewrote the text” of his life. This language highlights honest surrender, repentance, and the experience of being restored by God. 2 Corinthians 5:17 makes the same basic claim in a more compact form: “if anyone is in Chris...

The meaning of Resurrection

The meaning of Resurrection Reference --> 1 Peter 1:3. The meaning of Resurrection This verse captures the heart of Easter: through Christ’s resurrection, believers receive a living hope—not just tied to the past, but alive in the present and assured for the future. The meaning of Resurrection for us is, first and foremost, victory over death—death no longer has the final word. While we often see death as the ultimate end, the resurrection changes that. It’s no longer an end point, but the beginning of a new life united with Him forever.  1 Corinthians 15:54–55- And when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then the Scripture will be fulfilled that says, “DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory and vanquished forever. O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING? The Father accepted Christ’s sacrifice as atonement for the shortfall. The Bible says everyone has sinned and fallen short. The resurrection assures the forgivenes...
