A Year of Room – Expanding Space - Jan 2026

Subject: He Has Given Us Room! A Report from Our First 2026 Intercessory Prayer

Dear BCC Family,

Hallelujah! A resounding praise to the Lord this morning! Eighteen prayer-filled souls gathered for our very first Intercessory Prayer of 2026. Despite the morning's weather and road challenges, nothing stopped us from stepping into God's promises for this new year. It was a powerful declaration that when we seek Him, He meets us.

We began by anchoring our time on the foundational promise God gave to Isaac in Genesis 26:24:

  • "I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham."
  • A couple of powerful truths from this verse set the triumphant tone for our session: Fear not, I will bless you, I will increase for the sake of Abraham...

From this foundation, the Holy Spirit wove a rich tapestry of scripture through the believers present:

  • From Isaiah 51 & 52, we were challenged: "What are you afraid of—or who?" The word called us to awake, shake off the dust, and put on our strength and beautiful garments. Our God comforts Zion, and joy, thanksgiving, and melody will be found in her.
  • From Genesis 26:12-14 & 22, we saw Isaac’s faithfulness: he planted in a famine and reaped a hundredfold blessing because the Lord was with him. Even after facing opposition at Esek and Sitnah, he moved on in obedience and found Rehoboth—the spacious place of peace where God declared, "Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land." This is our pattern for 2026.
  • From Psalm 46:10-11, we received the command to "Be still, and know that I am God" and the assurance that "the Lord Almighty is with us."
  • From Jeremiah 29:13-14, we claimed the promise that when we seek Him with all our heart, we will find Him.
  • From Psalm 24, we declared together the majesty of the King of Glory—the Lord strong and mighty in battle—and invited Him to come in.
  • From Luke 11:9-13, we were reaffirmed in the heart of prayer: to ask, seek, and knock with the confidence that our Heavenly Father gives the Holy Spirit generously to those who ask.
  • From 1 Samuel 17:34-35 and 1 Peter 3:15, we were exhorted to be like David—faithful and courageous in protecting what God has entrusted to us—and to always be prepared to give a reason for our hope.
  • A young adult (Nathan) powerfully encouraged us to seek Him with all our hearts, without distraction or diversion. The collective sense was clear: A quiet revival is on the way. God is preparing good soil to receive His Word. As we let our ears, eyes, and mouths declare Jesus, everyone will hear, respond, and submit.
We will never be the same. The Word came in multiple layers, beautifully structured to recharge and assure us: He is our Father and will give His best. We are destined for the Glory of the Lord.

Like Joseph, whom God lifted to rescue a nation, God is in the work, even when it's not yet visible.
The call for 2026 is to see the new room (Rehoboth) the Lord has made, to dig continually by faith and trust, and to press on even to Sheba (the well of oath at Beersheba)—the place of settled covenant promise.

Let us move forward and expect the greater things God has prepared, starting this January and beyond. The King of Glory is with us!

God bless you,
In His Victory,
BCC Intercessory Prayer

“Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land.” – Genesis 26:22
"I will bless you... I will increase you...": An unwavering covenant guarantee for every area of our lives—ministries, families, workplaces, and neighbourhoods. Hallelujah!

Invitation

A Year of "Room": Join Our First Intercessory Prayer Gathering of 2026

Dear Church Family,

As we step into a new year, many of us carry forward with busyness, face opposition, or feel confined by circumstances. We are reminded of Isaac's journey in Genesis 26:19-22, digging well after well. He faced "Esek" (Contention) and "Sitnah" (Accusation), yet he persisted faithfully until he reached "Rehoboth" (Room), declaring, "Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land."

This is our promise as we begin 2026: to persist in prayer until God makes "room"—room for His peace, room for breakthrough, and room for us to flourish in our calling.

You are warmly invited to our very first Monthly Intercessory Prayer Gathering of 2026.

· Date: Saturday, 3rd January 2026

· Time: 7:00 AM (Start the year setting the day before the Lord)

· Venue: BCC The Church, WMR Campus, accessible from MH site, or you may come directly to the WMR car park.

This gathering is open to all who wish to exercise their God-given authority and responsibility in Christ. This is our spiritual "digging"—coming together to ask God to:

· Set free those in bondage

· Equip our deliverance ministry

· Prepare the way for what He wants to accomplish through us

He goes before us to bring about the things we ask Him in faith.

Let us come together to dig past the "Esek" and "Sitnah" in our lives and our land, and in united faith, declare a "Rehoboth" year of spaciousness, fruitfulness, and divine provision.

No registration is required. Just bring a heart ready to pray.

In His Faithfulness,

Prayer Ministries- BCC The Church

  • · Date: Tomorrow, Saturday, 3 Jan 2026

  • · Location: BCC The Church, WMR Campus (Access via MH site details or come to WMR car park)

I will Bless the Lord

I will bless the Lord, at all times...  Reference: Ps 34:1 - I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. One of the most important attitudes we can embrace in life is making it a habit to bless Him continually. I use the word “lifestyle” on purpose—it’s not just for when we feel like it, but also for when we don’t, because it’s essential. It’s not only about what we do, but who we are.  David’s steady commitment was clear in his words. He received countless blessings from the Lord even before he became well-known. Before everyone knew his name, the Lord knew him for his constant praise and gratitude. Out in the fields, tending sheep in the green pastures, he would sing, dance, and bless the Lord. That was David's preparation to the bigger assignments.  Verse 4 from this chapter really spoke to me: I sought the Lord, trusting in His word, and He answered me, delivering me from all my fears. So, I bless the Lord—Amen, Hallelujah. He...

If He said it, He will do it

Intercessory Monthly Meeting – May 2, 2026 Theme: If He said it, He will do it! 1. 15 intercessory warriors showed up – not in name only, but in spirit. - The atmosphere was desperate, eager, and hungry.   - Cases upon cases (prayer requests) were presented.   - Men and women shared words of encouragement and scriptures – all pointing to one truth: He is completely dependable AND TRUSTABLE. Our Declaration - If You said it, You will do it We echoed Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 – God Himself makes us holy and whole.   We started by thanking Him:  For who He is || For what He has done || For what He has already purposed   When we know that God Himself got into the business to make everything holy and whole – what else do we need? Amen! The Testimony of Determination - One warrior chose to stand in the gap over a haircut or personal chores. That’s the attitude of the **Canaanite woman** (Matthew 15) –   She kept calling. The discipl...
