Mary's Easter Dawn
In the quiet of the morning, where shadows softly lay,
Mary walked in sorrow, to the tomb where Jesus lay.
Her heart was filled with longing, her steps were slow and meek,
For the one she called "Rabboni," the Savior she did seek.
The stone was rolled away, the tomb was empty, bare,
Her tears began to fall, in the cool and fragrant air.
"Where have they taken Him?" she cried, her voice a plea,
But in the garden's silence, a gentle call, "Mary."
She turned to see the Master, alive, no longer gone,
"Rabboni," she whispered, in the breaking of the dawn.
His words were filled with comfort, "Do not hold on to Me,
Go and tell My brothers, of the victory they will see."
From sorrow to rejoicing, her heart was lifted high,
Mary Magdalene, the first to see the risen Christ.
Her faith and love unwavering, her message clear and bright,
In the light of Easter morning, she shared the hope of life.
