Elisha prayed to God with out Panic

Shabbat Shalom from Kent, London.

Elisha prayed to God with out Panic.

Elisha's prayer life demonstrates profound faith and the belief in God's ability to intervene in our affairs and reliance on God's power. He was a landowner's son and a successful farmer, however was chosen by God to be the successor of the prophet Elijah.

Elisha is known for performing many miracles, wonder-worker, Political influencer, Advisor and delivering God's messages to the people of Israel. There are many testimonies to pick up about his life, however am choosing this conversation between Elisha and his servant from 2 Kg 6.

The King of Syria very furious for not having any clue at all, how did the King of Israel know his war strategy, plan of attack, the techniques that he spoke to his close servants? He was asking his troops, will you not tell me which of us is helping or show me which of us is working for the King of Israel? After realising that it was a prophet who is telling the secrets spoken privately, he was attempting to seize him with the powerful military force, great army, a large fighting forces, horses and chariots. They went by night and surrounded the city Dothan where he was living at that time.

I realised the amount of trouble Elisha caused to the Syrian king- To get hold of one prophet, he despatched his best troops. When Elisha's servant asked him what are we to do?. Elisha answered as he recognised that the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire at his disposal.

1. DO NOT BE AFRAID.
2. For those who are with us (God's despatched troop) are more than those who are with them.

Nothing is a surprise to the Lord. We do not need to inform anything to HIM but invite into our situation. Elisha prayed to the LORD and said, “Please strike this army with blindness.” And God struck them with blindness, in accordance with Elisha’s request. The Lord involved and answered the Prayer as Elisha had asked. After he led them to get trapped in Samaria, again prayed to open their blindness, God did exactly as he mentioned. Instead of bloodshed, he was instrument to create a peace treaty between kings, later in 7th chapter, we can find that again Syrian camped against Isreal but this time the Lord driven them with a sound of horses, Chariots and Armies. Hallelujah!!!

This event highlights Elisha's role as a prophet who interceded on behalf of Israel and demonstrated God's power and protection over His people. Prayer is the means for God's intervention in all our situations. Through prayer, we can experience God's intervention, wisdom, and peace in our lives. Amen.

Peace be upon The State of Israel and Us.🙏
Shalom. 🙏🙏
Have a Good weekend.
In His Grip...🙏🙏🙏

τηρήσετε (tērēsete)- you will guard, keep watch over Reference: John 14:15 — "If you love me, keep my commandments" — sits at a hinge point in Jesus's Farewell discourse, right before HE promises the Holy Spirit (the "Advocate"/Paraclete). Root verb: τηρέω (tēreō) — not the more common Greek word for "obey" (peithomai/hypakouō, meaning to submit to authority), but a word that literally means "to guard," "to watch over," "to keep watch". It's the word used for a guard keeping watch at a post, or someone safeguarding a treasure. Love is defined by obedience, not sentiment. Jesus doesn't say "if you love me, feel devoted to me" — he ties love to concrete action. In John's Gospel, love is verifiable; it shows up in behaviour, not just emotion. The Greek verb for "keep" (tērēsete) is future tense and follows a conditional — love isn't presented as a prerequisite for a transaction ("obey...
