Same Day Delivery- Don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today!

Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts. (Hebrews 3:15)

If you don’t do it today, your heart becomes a little harder. So does your hearing. Before you know it, it’s difficult to discern the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

According to Parkinson’s Law, the amount of time it takes to accomplish a task depends on the time allotted. The time it takes expands or contracts based on deadlines. If you have two days, it’ll take two days. If you have two weeks, it’ll take two weeks. If you have two months, it’ll take two months.

Whatever you do, work at it with your whole being, for the Lord and not for men, because you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as your reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. (Colossians)

Jesus doesn't say "if you love me, feel devoted to me" — he ties love to concrete action. In John's Gospel, love is verifiable; it shows up in behaviour, not just emotion. The Greek verb for "keep" (tērēsete) is future tense and follows a conditional — love isn't presented as a prerequisite for a transaction ("obey...
