When the Faith acted upon Prayer....

When Israel saw the great power which the Lord had used against the Egyptians, they feared the Lord [with reverence and awe-filled respect], and they believed in the Lord , and in His servant Moses. Exodus 14:31 AMP

Strategic Prayer

 Exodus 17 documented a great truth. Standing on a hill with a staff over your head is not a strategic way to win a battle. And yet, that was essentially Moses’ plan when he instructed Joshua to go fight a powerful kingdom (Amalekites).  

• V9 - I will stand on the top of the Hill with the staff of God in my hand- willingness to the partnership with the God through Prayer.
• V10- Moses went up to the hilltop along with Aaron and Hur & Joshua went to the war!
• V11- When Moses held up his hand , that Israel prevailed.
• V12- Moses hands were heavy and he grew tired.
• V12- Aaron and Hur held up his hands until the sunset.
• V13- So Joshua overwhelmed and defeated Amalekites.
• V15- And Moses built an altar and named it The Lord Is My Banner!!! Jehovah Nissi!!!

We are in a situation that is too big to handle! Let us take this secret recipe from the Bible to the Prayer and Fasting. Let us join hands with other believers. Let us cling to The One who knows our future and empowers us to defeat the unpresented times. He is the Lord our banner!! In Jesus Name, Amen.

Faithfully

 

The default way of living a life of faith is dying.

It is dying to ourselves. Dying to our sin. Laying down all the reasons we are justified in what we want. It is laying down our desire for security and instead picking up vulnerability, by choice, in the name of Love. Lamen 3:22-26


The servant of the Lord must not participate in quarrels, but must be kind to everyone [even-tempered, preserving peace, and he must be], skilled in teaching, patient and tolerant when wronged. He must correct those who are in opposition with courtesy and gentleness in the hope that God may grant that they will repent and be led to the knowledge of the truth [accurately understanding and welcoming it], 2 Timothy 2:24‭-‬25 AMP

As for me

  As for me, I shall see Your face in righteousness; I will be [fully] satisfied when I awake [to find myself] seeing Your likeness. Psalms 17:15 AMP

  Some goals and practices are already laid out for us in scripture, which is so helpful: read your Bible (Psalm 119:9), spend time in prayer (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18), be with other believers (Hebrews 10:25), and share your faith (Psalm 96:3). God desires these things of us to keep us close to Him—to keep us fruitful and faithful.

It doesn't mean we have to be perfect in our attitudes in those things or our progress, we just have to be faithful.

Whatever you do, work at it with your whole being, for the Lord and not for men, because you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as your reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. (Colossians)

What do we pray? We pray for unity among the disciples, protection as they proclaim the Good News, and that they will set themselves apart to fulfill God’s mission. Then we pray that the world will open their eyes to the truth about Christ and worship Him as their Savior and Lord. Only through prayer can we gain the perspective that makes sense of why we must suffer for the gospel

Jesus Asked us to Pray- So pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest. Matthew 9:38 AMP

Prayer for Victory

May the Lord answer you (David) in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob set you securely on high [and defend you in battle]! May He send you help from the sanctuary (His dwelling place) And support and strengthen you from Zion! May He remember all your meal offerings And accept your burnt offering. Selah. May He grant you your heart’s desire And fulfill all your plans. We will sing joyously over your victory, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners. Prayer of David

Do not be afraid, land of Judah; be glad and rejoice. Surely the LORD has done great things! - Joel2:21

The LORD said to Moses, "Do not be afraid of him, for I have delivered him into your hands, along with his whole army and his land. Do to him what you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon." Num 21:34

What are the 4 types of love in the Bible?

The four loves are as follows

• Storge – empathy bond.
• Philia – friend bond.
• Eros – romantic love.
• Agape – unconditional "God" love.

Fatherly Love

For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.

Brotherly Love

The thing spoken of in the true proverb has happened to them, “T he dog returns to his own vomit ,” and, “A sow is washed only to wallow [again] in the mire.”

Christ’s death did not just end the hostility between God and us, but fully reconciled our relationship to Him. We can fully experience the Father’s love for us.

love is an action word. God desires that His followers love others through their actions.
However, it is much harder to do something or sacrifice something to demonstrate your love.


For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown for His Name in ministering to [the needs of] the saints (God’s people), as you do.

Happy New Year 2021.

May The LORD Bless, Keep, cause His face to shine and Gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His face to wards us and give us peace!!! (Num 6:24-26).
Let our light shine before the world, in such a way that they may see our good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honour and] glorify our Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16.

As a chosen race, royal priesthood, consecrated nation, a people for God's own possession, Let us walk in Him, having been rooted deeply, being continually build up in Him and and becoming increasingly more established in your faith, just as we were taught, and overflowing in it with gratitude. (1 Pt 2:9, Col 2:6-7).

For God did give us a Spirit of Power and of Love and of sound judgment and personal discipline and He is Good to those who seek Him on the authority of God’s word. (2 Tim 1:7, Lamentations 3:25‭-‬26)

May the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be pleasing to Him.

Now to Him who is able to carry out His purpose and do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams, according to His power that is at work within us, And let the Gracious favor of the Lord our God be on us!. (Ps 19:14, Eph 3:20)

We are seeing, hearing, going through lifestyle consists of Infections, Hospitalisation, Vaccination, Restrictions, Online education, Remote working, online platforms, MAGA protest and many more.
Its a challenging and unpredictable situation. It reminds me few verses that David mentioned when he was in the wilderness of Judah, his thirsty soul satisfied in God. Let this be our Faith, Hope and Confident in Him that we are fully satisfied as with marrow and fatness and richest of foods. The Lord, our God will fill our thirty and weary souls too, as He satisfied David.

O God, You are my God; with deepest longing I will seek You; My soul my life, my very self thirsts for You, my flesh longs and sighs for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water. So I have gazed upon You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. So will I bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. My soul my life, my very self is satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth offers praises to You with joyful lips.

If we find our self weary from waiting, let's do what the Israelites forgot to do. Its better to look for evidence of God’s presence, and look back on what He’s already done. Amen. 

God’s time and timeline may be different than ours, but His faithfulness doesn’t waver. Our waiting will be preparing us for the plans and purposes God has for us. 

Therefore let's not worry or be anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted), but declare that The Lord is preparing to feed, set up watering, arrange outfits and supply (fill until full) ALL our needs according to His riches in Glory in Christ Jesus. The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me]. Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow us all the days. 

We will [choose to] rejoice in the Lord ; we will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of our salvation!  The Lord God is our strength [source of courage, invincible army]; He has made us steady like hinds’ feet and makes us walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on our high places [of challenge and responsibility]. In Jesus Name, Amen 🙏.

But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.
